Confirmation stated that the room featured a microwave, refrigerator and cable tv. It had the tv, but that was it. (Don't know if there was cable- we didn't turn it on.) No refrigerator, or microwave, not even a bedside radio or clock. The shower head flew off whenever you turned it on. Whoever was upstairs was pounding on something and then we heard a vacuum (after midnight), and there was shouting all night. We maybe got 2-3 hours sleep. We checked out the next morning before breakfast and skipped the second night, even though we had already paid. When I mentioned to the desk clerk why we were leaving she said only some rooms had the mentioned amenities. I told her our confirmation claimed we should have them and she just shrugged.

    Good

My booking was for a king size bed with a refrigerator and microwave and when we checked in we were given a room with 2 full size beds no refrig and microwave. There were only 2 towels and no shampoo and only facial soap.

It was a last minute booking should have looked further into the facilities.

Not enough room to say all the things it was lacking! But the price was right and it was only one night!

We had booked a reservation but when we saw the room(x2 different rooms) we left so we did not stay actually. The desk clerk was kind about it however. The motel needs work and the folks hanging around it made us uneasy. Would not book there again.

Checking-in was easy and courteous, the man was friendly, and could understand we were countrymen, I was tired from the drive from St Louis... but next morning I went for the advertised 'Continental Breakfast': what a joke, sugar-loaded donunt and one banana for 10 patrons.. only coffee. I asked the lady who came to the desk if there is any hot-tea or at last hot water and some milk and sugar (as I carry my own tea-bags in case of such emergencies). No, she retorted back, only coffee. I asked if no one requests for tea and if none of my countrymen come by to stay at the hotel and ask for tea... We have never had any request for tea.. was the reply. No tea-drinking people in all of the US and we are aren't we in multicultural USA, and there are our countrymen, you for one, you must be drinking tea in there and make hot water.... whereupon the lady turned around and vanished quietly into the back rooms and left me hanging in there; I had said to her I had two questions; I never got around to asking the second one as she disappeared: it was to do with the internet or browser not working on their free 24-hour Wi-Fi that morning. So I left for my meetings without being able to wake up with my usual cuppa and not being able to check emails. How are people like these allowed to run hotels/motels/potels in the name of the Best American? Send them to Brazil to learn some courtesy, softer voice, less pretension to being "American" (there is no old America, we are now a new nation with a Black President in tow)... ,a nd learn how to put the guests ahead of their own monetary greed (I know these clans only too well; they should run second-hand car industry not hotels which deals with people and not dead chasis!!) Please post this feedback if you have the honesty and decency to for all to see. Never will I stay in a 'Best American..' 'Best Mexican', Yes, 'Best Brazilian', yes; even 'Best China'.

The bathroom reeked of smoke and bleach and body odor. There were hairs covering the blankets. One pillow was dirty and stained. The toilet didn't flush correctly. The "free wifi" was unable to connect. In order for the door to shut, you had to slam it. There was no alarm clock. There was only one bath towel in the room. It was disgusting!
